The best vegan chocolate fudge icing!

In my opinion icing is a very important part of any good cake and should be just as tasty as the rest of the cake. Finding the right icing recipe can is not always easy as you don't want to ruin your amazing cake by sticking some average icing on the top. It can be even harder when your vegan and I hate to miss out because of my lifestyle choices so was absolutely delighted when my one of my granny's neighbours gave me a vegan cake and icing recipe. If you follow me on Instagram you will probably have seen that the cake crumbled and was an absolute disaster (I'm blaming my sister for that!) but the icing was so delicious. A few of you got in touch saying you wanted the recipe so here it is. The best vegan chocolate fudge icing that you NEED in your life!

ingredients:

• 50g vegan margarine/butter (I prefer the taste of butter)

• 3tbsp water

• 250g icing sugar

• 2tbsp cocoa powder

method:

1. Place the margarine/butter and water in a pan and heat gently until the margarine has melted.

2. Remove from the heat and add the sifted icing sugar and cocoa powder, beating until shiny, adding more hot water if needed.

3. Pour into a bowl and cool until firm enough to spread and pipe.

It really is that simple but trust me it tastes delicious!
